Dr. Jenna Bowie

Dr. Bowie is originally from Washington State and spent many years working as a veterinary assistant in her hometown before starting and throughout veterinary school. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Medical Sciences and a minor in Animal Sciences from Washington State University. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University in Grenada and completed her clinical year at Texas A&M where she studied mixed animal medicine.

For the first two years following graduation, Dr. Bowie worked in Georgia at a small mixed animal practice with a primary focus in companion animals.  Dr. Bowie has special interest in nutrition, ultrasonography, surgery, and dermatology. Dr. Bowie’s favorite part of working in general practice is building relationships with clients and providing continued care as pets’ progress through different life stages.

She has one dog, River, whom she adopted while attending veterinary school in the Caribbean, and a cat, Sue, who was rescued as a kitten. When she is not working Dr. Bowie enjoys spending time outdoors enjoying the sun, hiking, and running with her dog.
