Dr. Emma Rovitz is originally from Long Island, New York. Early on she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian thanks to the help of her family pet Harley. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University and went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri. Dr. Rovitz special interests include internal medicine, dentistry, and behavior medicine, but is especially passionate about caring for senior pets in their golden years.
Dr. Rovitz has a dog named Mowgli and a cat named Wednesday. Wednesday was the first patient Dr. Rovitz ever performed surgery on, so of course she had to adopt her! In her free time, she enjoys discovering new books, cooking, exploring new restaurants, crafting, and cuddling with Mowgli. She can’t wait to meet all patients and provide them with the highest level of care.
